About

Arindam has received his B.Sc. in Chemistry on June 2015 from Midnapore College, W.B., and M. Sc from Vidyasagar University. He qualified  GATE (Feb, 2017) during his M.Sc. After completing his M.Sc on June 2017, he joined AB Research Group, IISER Bhopal as a Graduate Student under the guidance of Prof. Alakesh Bisai in July 2018. During his Ph.D. time, he completely focused on the synthesis of architecturally complex natural products of biological relevance and could synthesize some of the natural products having Pyrrolo[2,3-b]indole scaffolds, like: Folicanthine, Chimonanthine, Calycanthine. After that he was working on (+)-psychotrimine and (+)-psychotetramine via a photocatalyzed C-N bond formation. Now he is working on his next journey....
